The Reddit leak, which surfaced earlier today, is from a very strong source: the account is responsible for several other major leaks that were verifiable in retrospect, including those for Pokemon Sword & Shield _ and _Ghost Recon: Breakpoint . Given that, the Diablo 4 leaks should be considered at least likely to have some truth to them, and if that's the case, there's some major information available. First and foremost, the post seems to suggest there could be open world elements coming to the game. It states that players will be able to ride mounts and that there's lots of interaction with the surrounding environment, including climbing walls. Another major win for long-time fans: Diablo 4 will be eschewing the bright colors many took umbrage with and bring back the gritty and gross aesthetic the series is known

The gameplay of Torchlight II will be familiar to anyone who has played an entry in the Diablo series. Torchlight II is never going to win any awards for innovation or originality, as the gameplay is so close to that of the Diablo series that you would be forgiven for thinking that it's a mod for Diablo III. This might sound like a criticism, but Torchlight II retains all of the addictive and fun gameplay of the series that inspired it. There is a lot of fun to be had in cleaving through hordes of monsters in a fast-paced combat environment, while slowly learning new skills and finding more powerful gear to make the player character stronger. The sheer range of foes and their different combat abilities mean that the player will need to keep switching up their combat style, as they go from facing hordes of small rat creatures that try to overwhelm them, who are followed by a lumbering giant with a deflector shield. These unique combos of enemies and abilities are a constant thorn in the player's side and working out the best way to overcome them is one of the joys of Torchlight

Regardless of what is presented, there is always the possibility of being overshadowed by protests within the event, or like last year, an unscripted question from the audience calling out Blizzard for their odd choices over the last few years. Blizzard might also be faced with a hefty challenge of managing attendees who show up in full protestor gear or spam the livestream chat with pro-Hong Kong messages as people have speculated they might. Given how badly the questions were in 2018, there is unlikely to be any open question and answer period this time aro

Blizzard has made it abundantly clear that Diablo 4 is very early in development and this demo served to show the direction the game is headed more so than the systems and specifics which are likely to change between now and release. As a purely visceral experience that aims to create an fresh gothic-medieval horror identity, Diablo 4 is absolutely on the right track.

It is a sad state for Blizzard right now. Even before their controversial placating of the Chinese market over all others, it was clear that the company had its work cut out for them at this years BlizzCon to convince its player base that they were still interested in making great games for the PC . Now though, we may be seeing one of the most staged, disingenuous BlizzCon events in the history of the comp

Fans will note that, even in stills, Diablo 4 's gameplay looks a shade more dynamic than it was in Diablo 3 . Character positioning and the environment at large look like they'll both play larger roles in the experience moving forward, and the trailer hinted at that too, with scaleable walls in the environment and mounts to ride. It also looks the the world of Diablo 4 will be a diverse one, judging by the different locations already on display in the Diablo 4 lore|https://diablo4zone.com/ 4 screenshot d

Blizzard released Diablo 4 _ screenshots in 4k following the game's stunning debut at BlizzCon 2019, demonstrating a significant shift in aesthetic and in-game visuals that hearkens back to _Diablo 2 , the title that so obviously serves as a major inspiration for the next instalment in the franchise. Diablo 4 was one of the biggest announcements coming out of BlizzCon 2019, although a report surfaced weeks before the actual event that confirmed the existence of the project alongside Overwatch

The Diablo 4 leak also suggests that there are at least three classes confirmed for the game already. The mage, which seems to be a replacement for the sorcerer/sorceress class; a barbarian class that is exactly what fans might expect from the series historically; and a druid class, which will be able to transform into beasts and use the elements of wind and lightning. The post also suggests that Diablo 4 plays heavily off Diablo 2 , another scrap of information that will surely excite f

The roughly 20 minute demo on the show floor offers the hack 'n slash Diablo experience fans will expect, with some significant visual updates, shockingly visceral sound design, and the most engaging combat in any Diablo title thus far.
