Far Cry 5 is one of Ubisoft's best-selling games , and that fact combined with the general popularity of the Far Cry franchise means it's not going anywhere anytime soon. Far Cry 6 is a virtual guarantee, and at the rate Ubisoft pumps out Far Cry games, it will likely release within the next couple of years. That timeline is even more likely if a recent "leak" is to be belie

Much of the backing of these "leaks" lines up with some of the information that Ubisoft sent out as part of a Far Cry feedback survey to players after the release of Far Cry 5 . One question in particular asked players where they would like to see a new Far Cry game take place, which then proceeded to list around 15 regions and time periods. These choices ranged from different regions like South America or North Korea, or even went as far as going to another planet like the Far Cry 5: Lost on Mars D

Vaas represented a pivotal shift in Far Cry 's narrative structure that served to transform the series into something much more insane. Actors often like to have fun with AMAs and interviews as such, but occasionally tease things that could be true. The way its written seems more of a joke than anything, but it wouldn't be the first time an actor has hinted at a possible return. Vaas returning to Far Cry 6 may even mean the next game is a sequel to Far Cry 3 as well. Considering how iconic Vaas has become for the franchise since its third iteration, his return would be interesting considering he presumably died at the end of Far Cry

Seed created a legacy, put his family first, and had conviction in his beliefs (that turned out to be right). This idea that his insanity was actually based in something took Seed to a new level, leading fans to be happy with his surprising return in New Dawn . This added a new layer to the character, perhaps giving him more depth than others, and is something Ubisoft should replicate. The antagonists of New Dawn , Mickey and Lou, were the opposite though. They really had no depth and committed evil for evil's sake; in other words, the Far Cry 6 villain should take more after Joseph Seed than Mickey and Lou, replicating success and learning from mista

Perhaps the biggest lesson Far Cry 6 can learn from its predecessors, Far Cry 5 and New Dawn , is the overall structure, but a middle ground. Far Cry 5 had a great story , intriguing gameplay, but the overall design of the missions was enough to turn off some players. Essentially, players would need to complete side activities in specific regions until their character was kidnapped and something would happen causing their release. This was repetitive, and while not overall damaging, it was detract

Overall, it seems Ubisoft has been casting a wide net to determine where the Far Cry franchise could go next. That being said, the next entry may be coming within the next year, as late as spring of 2021 according to Ubisoft's fiscal year release schedule. Far Cry 6 may even be a potential sequel or set in the same universe as Far Cry 3 assuming Michael Mando is being more coy than playful. Or the game may go even further outside the box than usual and explore something completely new. Summer's gaming events should give us some more concrete i

For starters, Esposito has already depicted several iconic villains on both TV and film previously, ranging from Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian to Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad . Fans recognize Esposito for his calm and collected demeanor based on his iconic Breaking Bad character Gus Fring, but he's taken on other roles that reflect a more charismatic side of Esposito that's not often recognized. One particular example is his clever and boisterous character Buggin' Out from Spike Lee's Do the Right Thi

Since the humble beginnings of the franchise, varying degrees of insanity have been prevalent throughout each Far Cry game. Far Cry 3 took this even further with its iconic villain Vaas, placing a pivotal and charismatic character as the source of the game's unpredictability. Subsequent Far Cry games have turned this into a staple for the series, and for good reason. Assuming the former Breaking Bad star is to become the villain for Far Cry 6 , here's what he could bring to the ta

Perhaps the most interesting rumor thus Far Cry 6 patch Notes|https://farcry6zone.com/ comes from a Reddit AMA with the franchise's most iconic villain. Earlier in April, Vaas actor Michael Mando was answering fan questions regarding both Far Cry 3 as well as his role in AMC's Better Call Saul as Nacho Varga . One of the questions asked of Mando was "Do you still get recognized as Vaas or do more people see you as Nacho now?" Mando responded in general his love for the character Vaas that he co-created during Far Cry 3 's development, but also went on to mention that he may be able to reprise the role "very soon," seemingly as a j

Recently, Ubisoft revealed that it would be releasing 5 triple-A games by March 2021, with three of those being previously delayed games like Watch Dogs Legion and the other two remaining unconfirmed by the publisher. However, rumors and leaks point to these games being Assassin's Creed Ragnarok and Far Cry
