All of these indie games are expected to release in 2021 but given the delays so many games saw in 2020 don’t be surprised if at least a few of these see their release dates pushed back. This list is nowhere near comprehensive, and there are sure to be other amazing indie games coming in 2021 , but these are some of the most exciting games coming this y<br><br> <br>In Stray , players will assume the role of a clever cat who is responsible for solving mysteries amid a futuristic setting. Players will be joined by B12, a robot companion who never leaves the cat’s side. The main plot of Stray's story will have the pair attempt to solve an age-old mystery in the heart of the forgotten cyber city, which has a distinctly post-apocalyptic feel. The graphics in the trailer are alone stunning, as viewers are introduced to a neon-lit, futuristic city, which appears to take direct inspiration from Japan’s bustling downtown. Humans have seemingly been obliterated from the city – graffiti reading "RIP Humans" is visible – leaving the animals to fend for themselves against the wide variety of robots posing a threat to their well-being. It appears droids have completely taken over the city, as they can be seen doing everyday activities and tasks, such as dining at a restaurant and gossiping with frie<br><br> <br>It's a very tender story and all the more pleasantly surprising when you consider that Triple Frontier itself is a decidedly grim and un-happy movie (in a good way, mind you). More than that, it makes for a great ending to the film's larger struggle to get made and a refreshingly touching tale about what went down off-camera during the production of a major Netflix release.
